In 2024, the number of inbound and outbound passengers and vehicles passing through the Zhuhai Highway Port via the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge exceeded 27 million and 5.55 million respectively, an increase of 72% and 71% year-on-year, both reaching historical highs. Hong Kong and Macau residents are enthusiastic about "going north" consumption, while mainland residents are still enthusiastic about "going south". With the continuous expansion of "individual travel" cities from mainland China to Hong Kong and Macau, the "multi stop" tourism products built around the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge in the Greater Bay Area have been highly sought after.
